Rasputina es una banda Cello rock de Nueva York fundada por la violoncellista de Kensas Melora Creager. Desde su formación en el año 1992 los componentes de la banda han ido rotando y cambiando constantemente, pero entre sus filas han figurado cellistas como Zoe Keating o la cellista de Anthony and The Johnsons Julia Kent.

La banda es reconocida por su fascinación por épocas pasadas así como por el particular sentido del humor de su cantante.
